The book describes how the Heart and the Ego work in your life, and how you can integrate these aspects of your person into your consciousness, and thereby become a happier person!
The book is inspired by the outlook on life found within both esoteric and analytical psychology, and it is my hope that it can serve to build a bridge between the purely psychological and the purely esoteric outlook on life – and above all lead to a outlook on life and a life experience that will have the Heart as a permanent 'ingredient'.
Excerpt from the Book.
“Developmentally, we humans are in a phase where we are confronted with two such different energies and impulses, as those represented by the Ego and the Heart. Consciously, most people are, more or less, where the clash takes place between these two types of impulses, and are therefore exposed to the consequences of this clash. This results in a situation where many people experience a new desire and, at the same time, a resistance to living it out. As humans, we are seriously entering a phase where we must consciously lift ourselves above our own ego, and thereby expand our current consciousness beyond this ego. To help us in this development, we are influenced by new 'energies' that, among other things, will act as catalysts for the cleansing process that will cause the bonds of lower egoism to loosen their grip on us. It is therefore a time for cleansing and integration, a time where the Ego and the Heart fight side by side, and where we as beings must try to integrate them both within ourselves, in the best possible way. This is undoubtedly the great challenge of our time!”
