How the 2 evolutionary processes create consciousness

You need life to change,

and life needs you,

to live out your realizations in it

Having discussed the two cycles of evolution and their development periods, it is important to examine their purpose in greater detail, and how they function together to achieve this purpose.

In other words, how is it ensured that we evolve?

The two evolutions aim to integrate new energies/impulses into your consciousness. The process leading to an increased consciousness starts with an ‘energy-influence’ that leads to what I call a ‘new-consciousness’.

This “new-consciousness” must then be lived out in your life, in order to anchor it in your being. Only then can a permanent change of your consciousness take place.

1. The 6 Steps to Change

The evolution of consciousness is an example of a process that involves both evolutions. The conscious evolution is associated with the ‘anchoring phase', while the superconscious evolution is associated with the 'new-consciousness’ event.

The 2 events (which together ensure the integration of a new-consciousness into us) are shown in Figure 15.

The development process that leads to irreversible change of consciousness is a process involving 6 steps. It all starts with an impulse from the superconscious, and ends with an irreversible change of consciousness, which will act back on the superconscious itself and change it.

Figure 15. The two Evolutions lead to change of consciousness through the new-consciousness phase and the anchoring phase.

From the Pre-Ego to the Heart period, the process of evolution starts with unconscious unity and ends with conscious unity. This is a process controlled by the two evolutions. The superconscious evolution will create a “new-consciousness”, which is followed by an anchoring phase (controlled by the conscious evolution). In the anchoring process, we live out the new-consciousness (the little black arrows) in the world, which leads to a change of your being and to new anchoring tasks (dotted red arrows). This will gradually prepare you for another new-consciousness on a higher level. The thick yellow/green arrows show the degree of new-consciousness, and the orange/purple arrows the degree of change. Notice that when the arrow of new-consciousness increase, the ‘change arrow’ does not, but when the arrow of new-consciousness does not increase (in the anchoring phase), then the ‘change arrow’ increases. Thus, you can only change in the anchoring phase.

When a new impulse from the superconscious,

initiates a process of change in the consciousness,

the changed consciousness also sends out a new impulse,

that will change the superconscious

The 6 steps to a change of consciousness are summarized here:

1) Superconscious energy influence

All development of consciousness starts from the superconscious. That's where the incentive for development comes from. That's where the original will to change comes from. That's where the basic energy for momentum comes from.

The impulse comes from the collective part of your superconscious, which testifies to the fact, that your own development of consciousness not only has to do with yourself but is the product of a will that encompasses the whole of humanity (and in fact all living beings).

From the collective part of the superconscious, the impulse reaches the personal superconscious, from where it travels towards your subconscious/consciousness.

2) Resonance activation of your consciousness

A new impulse from the superconscious can temporarily ‘resonance activate’ the lower form of the same energy, that the consciousness houses. This causes a temporary lift of consciousness. This can happen multiple times, and it is an important event that motivates the consciousness to develop.

3) Resonance-induced "new-consciousness" leads to a new desire to experience higher forms of life

Great realizations come from a resonance activation of a part of your consciousness, whereby you are temporarily lifted to a new level of consciousness, a level that you have not reached permanently yet. This is a transient event, and when you revert to your own level, you will experience a great desire to again experience the higher level of consciousness.

4) Living the new-consciousness (the anchoring process)

For the ‘new-consciousness’ to become an integral part of your life, it must be lived. A ‘new-consciousness’, that results from a resonance-activated consciousness, sends a message to life. Life responds by making sure you can start living your new insight, by providing new opportunities for you. This phase is often the longest in the entire process of change.

5) Anchoring the new-consciousness

At some point, the new-consciousness will become firmly established in your being, in a way where it merges with your consciousness. When this happens, the anchoring process is complete.

6) Changing your consciousness

When the anchoring of the ‘new consciousness’ is complete, you are now forever changed. You experience life permanently in a different way. This will act back on your personal superconscious and enable it to receive an even higher impulse from the collective superconscious.

This new impulse will then start the process all over again.

The journey of the energies from the superconscious

So, it begins with an energy influence originating from the superconscious. This influence is based on what your personal superconscious has been able to receive and pass on to your consciousness/subconsciousness. These energies are predominantly Heart energies and high Ego energies, which will be channeled through the Life themes.

This theme-clothed energy will then reach your personal subconscious and consciousness, where the energies will be further clothed with your personal history (e.g., by the complexes in your subconscious that respond to the energy).

Finally, the energy will give rise to a desire for a higher form of Life experience in your consciousness.

It is important to note that you can never integrate something into your consciousness that is not already a part of your superconsciousness. You always desire something that a part of you already knows to be true.

The process that leads to the change of your consciousness is thus as follows: Energy influence (originating in the superconscious) à resonance activationà new-consciousness à living the new-consciousness (anchoring phase) à permanent change (Figure 15).

When you manage to live new realizations (a ‘new-consciousness’), and in this way bring them to life, you will find, that situations that before could prevent a connection to yourself (e.g., to your Heart) no longer can do this. This is where you discover that you have indeed changed

What you are in control of, and what you are not in control of

What you are in control of in this process is the anchoring phase itself, or at least the course of events where you live your new insights.

The driving force behind this is a desire to know the truth, a desire to know whether the new insight is true or not, and you won't know that until you have lived it. If, through this living, it turns out to be true – then you will come to 'own' this truth, because it is now a part of you.

In all this, there is only one thing that you are in control of (with your Ego-consciousness and Ego-will), and that is the living of the ‘new-consciousness’.

The rest you are not in control of.

The development of consciousness is ensured by the processes over which we have no control.

The things we're not in control of,

ensures change and development

of our consciousness

We are passengers on a ship. On the ship we can go in many directions, but the direction of the ship itself, is controlled by forces, that are completely out of our reach, forces originating from the superconsciousness.

If we look at the process again, then it consists of the following events:

Energy influence à resonance activation à ‘new-consciousness’ and desire à living and anchoring à change of consciousness

What you are not in control of is underlined. You can see that it is the energy influence, resonance activation, new-consciousness, the anchoring, and finally the change itself. That is a lot!

Regarding the creation of a ‘new-consciousness’, we have seen that it is the superconscious evolution that supplies the energy for this event. Since it is a “new-consciousness,” which (by definition) has not yet been integrated into your consciousness, the energy that has created this new-consciousness must necessarily be one that is higher than that of your current consciousness.

Since the energy comes from the superconscious evolution, you have no conscious influence on creating these new-consciousnesses, and no influence on their content. No doubt you can make yourself receptive to them, but you cannot determine the actual content of a new-consciousness.

What changes the superconscious? ghy

The change of your consciousness has several consequences. You are now experiencing the world in a different way, and you need new stimuli to continue your development.

This “new stimuli” must, as always, come from your superconscious.

We have seen that the energies/impulses, that your personal superconscious sends towards you, are energies that it has been able to receive from your collective superconscious, through the sensory organs that are in your personal superconscious.

Therefore, if your personal superconscious is to succeed in sending new energies (of a higher quality) towards your consciousness, it must first develop the sensory organs to receive them.

This means that a change in your consciousness will also change your personal superconscious and make it able to channel other energies.

Thus, your personal superconscious changes when your consciousness changes.

It responds to your new desire.

2. Final words

We have now been through Part 1, “The Evolution of Humanity.” In this part of the book, you have been presented to a worldview that has focused on the development of humanity. You have seen that it consists of two cycles of evolution, each consisting of seven development periods, and a total of 14 energies.

You have also seen that we contain a collective and a personal superconscious, a collective and a personal consciousness, and a collective and a personal subconscious.

In the superconscious, we find the seven superconscious sensory organs, as well as the “cosmic spark.” In the subconscious, we find the Life themes, which are activated by superconscious energies in the collective part. In the personal part, we find other structures, such as the complexes.

The superconscious evolution is in direct contact with your superconscious, while the conscious evolution is in contact with your consciousness.

The contact with the conscious evolution occurs via the personal development structures, of which there are seven, one linked to each of the development periods. Each of these seven personal development structures has its own unique structure and operates according to specific laws. The language of the Ego development structure consists of various states of mind and emotions.

Part 2 - Your Own Role

A greater understanding of the worldview that I have presented to you requires that we now turn our attention to ourselves and explore our own role in all this.

From having dealt with the larger perspective, it is time to take an even closer look at the development of the individual – that is, your own development.

In Part 2 (“The evolution of the individual being”), I will discuss the Ego development structure. After that, in Part 3 (“Man and Cosmos”), I will pick up on everything we have learned so far and focus on the purpose of our existence.

Figure 16. The superconsciousness initiates a process of evolution

Our level of development is defined by the location of our ‘space of consciousness’. A space of consciousness moves in only one direction, whereas the ‘current consciousness’ can move in both directions, within ‘the space of consciousness’. The superconscious is half a development period further ahead, compared to our consciousness, in terms of what energies it can receive (through the sensory organs). The lowest energies, with which it affects us, correspond to the level just above the highest energies that we can take in consciously, in this case the high Ego energies. These superconscious energies flow ‘down’ towards the personality and initiate the desire and resonance-activation that ensures a sufficient motivation to 'invite' life to start the anchoring process for us, by sending us the appropriate tasks. It will all lead to both ‘spaces of consciousness’ moving upward.
